CBSA China Youth Championship kicks off at Jiaxing Station, Shinco World Youth Championship champion leads the game

CBSA China Youth Snooker Series (hereinafter referred to as the China Youth Championship) is a national event sponsored by the Small Ball Sports Management Center of the State General Administration of Sports and the Chinese Billiards Association. Registration is open for young snooker players under 21 years old. The Jiaxing Open was the second event held in the China Youth Championship this season. The first Nanjing Open ended with Luo Honghao’s victory.

There are a total of 82 contestants who signed up for the competition, of which 25 were in the junior group and 57 were in the youth group. Among the contestants, some have just experienced the IBSF World Youth Championship and went directly to Jiaxing. I believe that after the experience and test of the international competition, the contestants of this station will contribute more exciting confrontations.

It is worth mentioning that Fan Zhengyi from the CBSA World Snooker Academy, the winner of the men’s U21 World Youth Championship of the IBSF World Youth Championship that ended last week, also signed up to participate in the China Youth Championship. As the champion of the Shinco World Youth Championship and a prospective world snooker professional player, Fan Zhengyi will become the biggest attraction of this station.

In addition, runners-up in the men’s U21 group of the 2017 IBSF World Youth Championship, Luo Honghao, who is currently ranked No. 1 in the CBSA middle youth group, and last year’s Jiaxing station youth group champion, De Advocate Health, will also appear in this station.

According to the schedule, the afternoon of July 19-21 will be the first stage of the competition. The youth group will adopt a double-elimination round and the youth group will adopt a group round robin. The second stage of the game is a single-elimination round, and the final will be staged on July 23.
