The CCTV Lunar New Year Cup ended successfully, the youth group upset to win the championship

The 8th CCTV Lunar New Year Cup World Women’s Nine-Ball Championship ended happily. The transnational youth team composed of young players Zhang Muyan and Fifi Lava killed Chen Siming and Liu Shasha and won the New Year’s Cup championship in the Year of the Rat.

The two sides competed in four singles and two doubles matches. In the first two singles matches, Zhang Muyan and Fiferava both won, and Chen Siming and Liu Shasha passed the doubles to bite the score. On the second day of the match, the two sides exchanged singles against each other. Liu Shasha defeated Fifilava and Zhang Muyan defeated Chen Siming. The world champion team won the last doubles and dragged the game into a penalty shootout. In the end, Zhang Muyan became the key lady again, taking the lead in scoring, and then Fiferava made a final decision. They beat Chen Siming and Liu Shasha to win the Lunar New Year Cup.

In the annual Lunar New Year Cup, in addition to the game itself, the talent display of the players is another highlight. Chen Siming and Zhang Muyan showed off their voices, and Liu Shasha and Fifilava danced passionately, showing their charm outside of billiards.
