PODCAST WITH TOM FORD
Tom Ford provides insight into his life and snooker career in the new episode of the WST Podcast.
Leicester’s Ford recalls his tough formative years in the sport, when he worked part time in jobs including landscape gardening in order to make ends meet. He explains his opinion that young players of today should follow that example by taking jobs to pay their way.
Ford discusses the best runs of his career so far and his status as one of only eight players to have made five or more 147s. He also reflects on the recent occasion when he broke down in tears during a match.
The podcast will be released every Monday, and each episode will feature an in-depth interview with one of snooker’s biggest stars or up-and-coming talents.
In the presenter’s chair is Michael McMullan, who has spent over 20 years covering the tour as a journalist and broadcaster.
