The World Games was born in 1981 and is an international sports competition event. The content of the competition is mainly non-Olympic events and is organized by the International World Games Association (IWGA). The frequency is the same as that of the Olympic Games, which is held every four years and is fixed one year after each Olympic Games.

The entry of billiards into the World Games began in the sixth (2001) Akita, Japan. Since then, snooker, American billiards and Sanku Kailun have become the official events of the World Games, and they have quickly developed into the heaviest weight. One of the contents.

This year’s World Games will have four players representing China in the billiards event. They are Chen Siming, currently ranked No. 1 in the world in American billiards, Han Yu, No. 1 in CBSA American billiards women, and Wu Jiaqing, No. 1 in CBSA American billiards men’s ranking. And last year’s IBSF World Youth Championship champion Xu Si. On July 13, the four contestants, under the leadership of the national team coach Shi Ming, went to the training base of the Chinese Billiards Association and the CBSA World Snooker Academy located in the Beijing Stadium to complete the assembly and began a ten-day pre-match training.

Four years ago, at the 9th World Games in Colombia, Shi Ming also served as a coach. “Last Colombia, the Chinese players were Liang Wenbo, Lu Haotian, Chen Siming and Liu Haitao. According to the plan, before going to Poland, the participating teams will start a ten-day training camp at the training base of the Chinese Billiards Association. “This training camp is a physical reserve on the one hand, and technical reserves on the other.
